TUTORIAL
1. First make sure the jar is clean and dry.
2. Use a hammer and large nail to make a hole in the lid. You want this hole to be big enough to install the knob.
2. Prime the jar and lid.
3. When the primer is dry, paint the jar { rose pink } and the lid ring { gold }.
4. When the lid is dry print the lid cover and tag.
Cut the lid cover and punch a hole in the middle of it. Place it right on top of the lid.

Great idea, I can’t wait to try this! I was also wondering how you made the letters on the jar gold?
Use a gold marker to follow the original jar letters… That’ll do it!
Thank you so much!
This is beautiful. I want to make it. But, how did you get the little lacy thing around it on? And, how did you get just the letters on the jar gold? I am not craft savvy, I need a little more instructions if possible. Thank you so much in advance.
Annette. I cut a piece of lace and hot glued on the back of the jar… Easy!
Hi, I really like this idea. Not just for a bride, but for my dresser. Love the vintage look. Are there other paints that I can use besides spray paint? I live in a small apartment which spray paint haven’t worked well for me in the past. Thanks for any advice you may have.
Celeste, you can use craft acrylic paint. You can find it at your local craft stores or WalMart.
