It is known that the way to a man’s heart it’s through his stomach and what shows more love than to feed them breakfast in bed. This is my husband favorite breakfast so we make it for him every Father’s Day. It is also my kids favorite so we have baked German Pancakes every Christmas morning for breakfast.
You are going to love this easy breakfast recipe!
- 6 eggs
- 1 Cup of Milk
- 1 Cup of Flour
- ½ tsp. salt
- 3 Tablespoons Butter
- Preheat your oven at 400º F.
- In a large bowl using a mixer blend the eggs, the flour, the milk and salt together. Make sure you mix all ingredients well until the mixture is foamy and smooth.
- Melt the three tablespoon of butter and spread it evenly on a 9" x 13" baking pan. The pan needs to be at least 2 inches tall since the pancakes are going to rise quite a bit. Pour the mixture into the pan slowly.
- Bake for 20 minutes on a preheated 400º F hot oven.
- Enjoy!
So easy!

Oh baby!
Add some syrup to the yumminess to make it extraordinary…
For a full breakfast I add bacon, eggs and homemade hash browns.
Pretty amazing that something so simple can be so good!

OMG!!!!!! I have to say this might have been the absolute best pancake I’ve ever eaten. I had my doubts, as I thought it would be like those yukky, fluffy beasts that suck up all the syrup, but the first bite changed all that. Folks, grab the ingredients listed above and have at er…this is a keeper!! Thanks bunches
Debbie .
This is gonna be breakfast!! Thanx.
o m g ! thats so beautiful ! makes me wanna cry ,,,,
my family use to make these, they are so good. I don’t know why but we use to call them Popeye pancakes. When ever we made them though there was never any left for later.
Sandy, it is the same here… my kids love them!
Hehe, this is funny. I’m german and I never make my pancakes this way… I use nearly the same ingredients but I never put them in the oven – I do them in the pan, like you would do with other ones as well 🙂
But I think, I will try them. They look really good!
I know the feeling. I am from Spain and what they call here Spanish rice is NOT Spanish at all 😉
I will give it a try on the pan… it sounds fast.
That looks SO good. Love how it looks all thin & crispy at the edges and curled up.
What a lucky guy he’ll be =)
Interesting. My husband’s German family calls those “Swedish” pancakes. Their German pancakes are like thick crepes.
these look AMAZING!!!!! oh i can taste them now!!!!! thanks for sharing!!!! : ) love it! hugs…
