I have a fun quick tutorial for you guys today.
DIY Clothespins Tutorial.
All the papers and embellishments that I am going to be using came from the 5th & Frolic line from Dear Lizzy.
Oh my cuteness! I love Elizabeth Kartchner stuff.
These clothespins were so easy to make!
I used the paper from the 5th & Frolic line from Dear Lizzy,
double sided tape, and scissors.
Cut a strip of paper a bit thinner than the clothespin you are using.
Add tape to the back side of the paper.
Measure the length of the clothespin.
Then peel the other side of the tape and stick it on.
You are done!
I used them as part of a little crafty gift basket that I made for one of my girls.
A few weeks ago I got in the mail some adorable crafty supplies from Dear Lizzy.
The first thing that caught my eye were the pretty colors and the adorable patterns of the paper.
I knew I wanted to make something for my oldest daughter since these designs were screaming her name.
She loves journals and stationaries so right away I thought to use most of the paper to make her a memory book.
I made the turquoise one inspired by the little book from Dear Lizzy.
To make it I cut every single piece of paper in 8 1/2 x 11 size.
I coordinated them in a way that I liked and then I took it to have it bound…. So cute!
Check out the inside and the accessories.
With the rest of the paper, the rubber stamps, the ribbon and the absolutely adorable buttons I made the rest of the accessories.
Seriously you can’t go wrong!
This is the gift basket that I ended up with… I love the bookmark!
A little basket like this would be an adorable Teacher’s Gift.
The 5th & Frolic line from Dear Lizzy it’s available at JoAnn Fabric & Craft stores nationwide.
