Isn’t it fun?
These Toothpick and Tinsel Toppers are so easy to make.
The only materials you’ll need are toothpicks, a tinsel garland, hot glue and a scissors.
You can make as many as you want for about 2 dollars… CRAZY!
TUTORIAL
Cut a bunch of small pieces of tinsel.
I cut mine about 1/2 inch wide.
2
Add a little bit of hot glue to the top of the toothpick.
Right away put the toothpick on top of the tinsel.
…and with your fingers wrap the tinsel around the toothpick pressing the tinsel upward.
Play with it until it looks right to you and looks similar to a Sparkler.
I think they are so darn cute!
Now stick it in your appetizers and goodies!
Are you ready to celebrate?

These are adorable! I have some ideas already! Use 3 garlands -a red, a blue and a white (or silver). Decorate a large sheetcake with white frosting. Using a picture of a flag, use blue and white (silver) to make the star field. Then cut the red garlands to make exactly the stripes as in the picture. You may need to make 2 sheetcake or buy a whole or half sheet cake from Sam’s or Costco. Their cakes are delicious and half the price of the grocery store cakes.
IDEA #2
If you see a multicolored garland, it would make gorgeous toothpick sparklers!
There are so many possibilities to use these any time of year!
Love these bought garland after Christmas and planned to make these
They are so much fun… I also make them in red and silver for the 4th of July!
Oh my gosh! I love how cute and simple these are! I have some of that garland in a bag in my closet…I can’t wait to make some of these for our New Year’s party!
