Hello my friends!
Couple questions for you:
When was the last time that you felt like you were stepping away from your comfort zone?
When was the last time you felt not just beautiful but beYOUtiful, YOUnique and simply YOU?
Today I am doing just that, jumping out of my comfort zone and joining the movement of self expression with the Revlon Expression Experiment
Today I am doing two things that I would never really do…
On one hand I am making my first video blog and on the other I am using purple eye shadow.
What is going on?
Well, sometimes little steps can make a big difference and today I am surrending to the only color that I don't like.
Let's talk about the makeup first!
First I was tempeted to use the gorgeous lipstick and even the nail polish for this post but instead
I'll be showing you how I used REVLON purple eye shadow to give my eyes a smoky look.
Talk about stepping out of your comfort zone… here is the video tutorial!
Using this kit was so much fun.
I love the quality of the products and how well they stayed on my skin during the entire day.
Their makeup primer is a must use. I loved how light it felt on my skin.
I want to invite you to join the movement of self expression with the Revlon Expression Experiment and visit them on Facebook. This is all about empowering women of all kinds, celebrating individuality and expressing who you are.
…So? What do you say, do you feel like wearing some red lipstick today?
Come on ladies if I was able to show off my Spaniard accent and my bathroom
in front of thousands of people you can do a little crazy of your own and join the Revlon Expression Experiment.
Who knew a little makeup could liberate someone so much!
Wishing you all a beYOUtiful day!
Besos!

AAAHHH. Your accent is amazing! It is so different than what I imagined from reading your blog. I love it, Desiree!
I’ve been reading your blog for a long time and it was so wonderful to get to see and hear you in this video! You are such a beautiful lady, and you did a fantastic job with this video. You explained so clearly and showed us exactly how to create the smokey eye effect! I love how the purple looked on you and thought you were so brave to step outside of your comfort zone, both with your color choice and with making the video. You inspired me to try something outside of my comfort zone too. I hope you will consider making more videos becaus you have such a lovely way about you and it would be fun to be able to see you more often. When we follow blogs for a long time, we start to feel like we are friends, even though we haven’t met, and this was a nice way to”meet” you!
Congratulations on a job well done!
Loved the purple! You look beautiful, and I could listen to you talk all day! So cute!!!
You were fantastic and darling! Love it!!!
I loved it! Blending eye makeup was always so intimidating, but your explanation makes it seem like something I could try! Thanks! Btw, I could listen to your beautiful accent all day! Especially, when you say purple!

Desi- You did fantastic on the video. I watched from beginning to end. You sound fantastic and the purple shadow looks great on ya. You know I love you to pieces and am so proud of you. Not only did you step out of your comfort zone with the purple you also stepped out of your comfort zone doing a video and I know you were scared. You rocked it with both. Lots of love, jen
