Every Friday we have a tradition in our family, we have our movie night. I can’t even tell you how excited our kiddos were last week when they found in the mail the show Monsters University. If you are like our family you love Disney but I think our children broke their own record, they watched Monsters University three times on Friday night. I am completely serious, three times! They asked me if they could have a movie night with their friends, so I am surprising a bunch of little monsters this weekend with a Party for Monsters Only… it is the Halloween season after all!
They had the idea of having a party similar to the one I put together when Oz The Great came out.
Let me show you our Monsters University night!
Party for Monsters Only
The first thing you need when you are throwing a party are the invitations.
I made two different designs, here is my favorite one!
Of course if you are going to watch a show you need your movie tickets!
I love the little monster dude!
To decorate I made a Monsters Only printable…
…and some monster cupcake toppers.
These little banners will help the little monsters to keep track of their drinks.
My very favorite printable however are these monster food tags…
…So fun!
And I also made a bunch of monster tags for the party favors.
Ready to print?
8×10 Monster Printable here, cupcake toppers and ribbons here, invitations here,
movie tickets here, food tags here, party favor tags here.
Feel free to use these free printables {for personal use only} to throw your own Halloween or Birthday Party.
Monsters University will be available on Blu-ray Combo Pack October 29th.
To pre-order the movie online go HERE.
For activities watch the movie and make some monster inspired treats. I think it would be so fun to actually recreate a Monsters University where the kids can learn to boo, make slime, and graduate at the end of the party.
You see? Sometimes to be a monster is a good thing!
For more fun ideas make sure to check out Monster University on Facebook, on Twitter, and on Pinterest.
Thank you for hanging out with me today!
