I was going through my posts the other night trying to get organized and I realized that
last year I shared this tutorial over at Design Dazzle but I never got to do it here on my blog.
So today I’m sharing how to make these super easy NO Sew Burlap Pumpkins.
Can you believe that Fall is around the corner?
Can you believe that the Holiday Season is almost here?
As we all know Holidays can be as expensive as they are fun.
A few dollars here and a few dollars there and after a while it ends up being a LOT of dollars.
I don’t know about you but I personally don’t like that.
Last year our Thanksgiving Table was done with things I had all over the house.
Today I am sharing with you a simple way to decorate our tables using burlap pumpkins.
MATERIALS
To make these pumpkins you’ll need burlap,
pins and whatever you choose to fill them up with.
{ Towels, t-shirts or even plastic bags will work perfectly }
TUTORIAL
Place a towel in the shape of a pumpkin in the middle of a burlap square.
The size of the square will determine the size of your pumpkin.
Gather all the fabric on top of the pumpkin as shown in the picture.
Hold the fabric together with an elastic band and insert a stick in the middle.
I got the stick from my back yard 😉 …At this point they will look like this.
Here is where the magic happens… Don’t cut the fabric on top.
Start folding it forming leaves. Then hold them down with pins…
…or you can add a few stitches where needed.
It will take you less than 15 minutes to make them!
I used the ones I made as the center piece on our Thanksgiving Table.
Such a simple way to bring the warmth of Fall into our own homes.
Before you go I want to invite you to see the rest of the table and the tutorial
of how to make table mats using the pages of an old book, and paper doilies name tags.
Oh how I love Fall!
I’ll see you later. The party will open at 9:30pm today.
Happy Wednesday!
Besos!

These are so great!! I love this idea. And your photos are absolutely beautiful … love those book page place mats, too. 🙂
Oh my gosh I’m loving the whole setting. The pumpkins are so cute and the dolies and place mats are lovely. I’m going to have to steal your ideas for my next dinner party!
haha… a whole lot of dollars. I know! How does that happen? I don’t like it either. I do like these Qt punkins though. And the no-sew factor 🙂
love anything burlap, these are great!
Love this idea…I like to use natural elements on the table for Thanksgiving. Would love to know where you got the candle holders.
LOVe! You had me at no sew!
I love burlap! and this is a perfect project for the upcoming holidays.
Thank you soooo much for finding this, these are so cute. I love burlap (and some unbreakable items on the thankgiving table don’t hurt either with little kiddos!)

Such an adorable idea! I love all the fall decor I’m starting to see around blog land!
Thank you for such a lovely idea for both decor and tablescape! Money is extremely tight this year, and yet you have shown me I can still have a beautiful table without breaking the bank! I appreciate the clear tutorials showing me how to make these pretty burlap pumpkins and I am off the look at the ones for the placemats and name cards as well.
Have a blessed day,
Maureen
