Happy {almost} fall, 36th Avenue readers! It’s Jill again from Create.Craft.Love. Apple picking season is finally here! I love going to the orchard and coming home with bags full of fresh apples! Since there are no orchards in SW Missouri, I pick extra to give to friends. These Apple Stamped Gift Bags are the perfect for Back to School or Gifts! Add some fresh picked apples and your own Homemade Applesauce or Apple Pie Recipe!
This is a simple craft and a great activity for kids!
Here’s what you need:
Jute gift bags
Red and green acrylic craft paint
Apple
Sponge brush
Prep your bags by placing a piece of paper inside so the paint doesn’t bleed through.
Cut an apple in half and grab some red and green acrylic craft paint.
Paint the cut side of the apple. Gently press onto the front of the jute bag and remove.
How cool is that?
Once the paint is dry, remove the paper and they are ready to use.
You could even use this method on a canvas for a fun fall decoration! The possibilities are endless!
I love how these turned out! I made three of these in less than 10 minutes!
Here is another fun apple project!

I just found this post a little bit ago and I had to go back and read it again. I’m not sure where you are located, but there most definitly ARE “orchards in SW Missouri”.
I’m more than a little surprised at that statement. The Great State of Missouri has orchards scattered all over it. All one has to do is do a Google search to find many listings.
This is so cute! We love apple stamps too. So fun!
Very cute projects! Thank you, for the inspiration!
Super Cute! Pinned!
Thanks Amy!
So cute! I’m so ready for Fall and these are perfect!
Me too, Leslie!! Thanks so much!
