Can the german pancake bites be prepare din a mini muffintin? I nees to make 36 bite sized servings for school
I don’t see why not… They may back a bit faster but I bet it will work!
I made these in regular sized muffin tins with duck eggs (which are like jumbo chicken eggs). This made 24 muffin sized pancakes that needed to cook for about 13-14 minutes.
These look fabulous! The recipe sounded familiar so I looked in my recipe box. Sure enough, it is the exact same recipe I use for a recipe called, Hootenanny Pancakes. It is made in a 9×13 pan though. Add the melted butter (or melt it right in the pan) and spread to edges. Then add the batter. Bake 25-30 minutes in a preheated 400 oven on the bottom rack (make sure there is room above it for the huge bubbles that can develop. We serve it with powdered sugar or syrup. Yours looks much much better though!
Since I don’t have that cool look mini loaf pan, do you know how many cupcake size this would make? Thank you for posting!
I LOVE this idea. Is the batter enough for a standard 12-hole muffin tin? I’m all over these for the kiddos.
