TUTORIAL

1

Paint the Jars and Lid-Ring

The first thing you want to do is clean the jars thoroughly before you paint them. When they are clean and dry use acrylic or spray paint to paint the outside of the jar. You are going to need two to three coats of paint. Make sure to let the paint dry completely between coats for best results. Let the kiddos help with this part of the job… Kids love to paint!

To paint the lid-ring I used black spray paint.

Make the Leaves

Cut a piece of green card stock in a leaf shape and leave a long stem at the end.

I made 3 of these for our teachers and filled them with Starburst candies. I used sparkly red spray paint for the jars instead of painting with a brush and they turned out super cute!! Thanks for posting this!!
