ย
Once uponย a time there were two cute little benches that I’ve had forever. Here is a picture of how the benchesย used to look in the beginning
and the steps I took to make themย look adorable!ย
ย ย
Te first thing I did was paintย the bench white.
ย
ย
ย
Then I antiqued ย it using my good friend the sander.

ย
I applied the vinylย stencils that I had previously madeย in placeย and I peeled off the transfer paper.
ย
ย
ย
Time to paint!ย Remember that it is always safer to tap.., tap…, tap ย the paint than to brush it side to side. ย However because the surface of the bench was smooth and the vinyl stuck to it perfectly this time I used a small disposal rollerย {from the dollar store}to take care of business.
ย
ย
…What number are we at?
When the paint was dryย I peeled the stencil off. This part always excites me!
ย
ย I did it all over again with the second bench.
ย
ย
I stood back and I thought… looking good ๐
ย
ย
ย Some more sandingย to add more character!
ย
ย
ย
ย I think they would look fabulous on pillow cases.
