Hi again, 36th Avenue readers! It’s Jill from Create.Craft.Love. I can’t believe it’s almost March! Spring is just around the corner and today I am sharing this cute St. Patrick’s Day Wall Hanging! I found this shamrock wall hanging on clearance at JoAnn Fabric last spring. As you can see from the picture below, it needed a little love but that can be easily remedied. You can find your own unfinished shamrock at a local craft store.
I began by painting the shamrock white.
It needed 3 coats to cover it.
After it dried, I started adding washi tape. I used a green and white striped pattern. Careful to align the markings.
Once the entire shamrock was covered in washi tape, flip over and trim with an exacto knife.
I added some gold vinyl lettering that says lucky. You can easily do this with gold letter stickers.
At first, I thought I would keep the wire hanger but I changed my mind. I ended up taking the wire off and adding this cute burlap ribbon to hang.
This would make a super cute front door hanging too!
