I made this glitter sign using my own Silhouette and the Double Sided Adhesive Starter Kit

This adhesive is like nothing I have tried before.

The first thing I did was design my image in the Silhouette Studio software.
I cut it, peeled one side, and placed it on my wood surface.
Then I peeled the other side of the adhesive that by the way is super sticky and
ready to handle whatever you want to stick on.
The Double sided adhesive starter kit comes with three color flocking powder and
three gorgeous glitters.
After I removed the white liner, I liberally applied the glitter.
This part was so much fun…
I loved seeing the sign come alive!
When all the sticky letters were covered with glitter I used the brush that came
with the kit to brush away the excess material.
It looked perfect after that!

I have a cricut too but am dying to have a silhouette! I really want to be able to make my own designs AND be able to cut fabric. Love all the double-sided adhesive projects you all are haring too!
Oh my goodness…cutest sign ever!!! I have a Cricut, but am thinking about switching to a Silhouette…it seems so much more versatile.

The Silhouette is awesome! You have everything you need in your computer. You can pretty much design anything you want with the fonts you already have. Also you can download new tags, fonts, and images to cut for a dollar or so. I love that you can cut fabric, cardstock, paper and vinyl… They have a ton of tutorials and ideas on their site and their customer service is great. I love mine and it is worth every penny!
OMG – love it. I have been reading about different cutters for so long. I keep coming back to the Silhouettes. Do you love the portrait? I know you are a busy woman but could you email give me some pros and cons?
