I was so excited when I heard that this month Shutterfly‘s challenge was to create a space inspired by Fall.  Home Decor and Accessories can be so much fun! I wanted the design for my girls’ bedroom to have a bit of country modern feel, inspired by Fall; but not dark, timeless but fun at the same time. Let me show you what I came up with!

When decorating I like to keep furniture and walls very neutral and bring color into a space with bright accessories.

Today I’m going to show you THREE WAYS to bring color into your home decor using items that you can create!

Ready to see?

PILLOWS

Pillows are a great way to give a complete new look to a room without changing anything else.

For my girls’ bedroom I designed three different pillows inspired by the beautiful colors of this magical season.

Here you can see the two leaf pillows!

Making the pillows was so easy!

All you need to do is visit Shutterfly / Home Decor / Pillows.

When you are there choose your design and size, download your image or picture, and you are done!

They’ll be delivered to your front door in no time!

The USA map pillow is my favorite!

Art Wall and Prints

There is something so warm and personal behind a picture. You get to capture a moment that lasts forever. I love printing large pictures to decorate my home. It takes just minutes to download your picture to Shutterfly, choose the size of the print you want, and have them print it for you. You can have them printed on canvas, metal, and wood;  really the possibilities are endless!

I love how cute and happy these prints turned out!

I also designed a cute Fall inspired print that my girls get to see every time they leave their room.

A little reminder that they were born to fly!

ACCESSORIES

I’m one of those crazy people that has in mind things before I know they even exist. I love that at Shutterfly my imagination can take form! Accessories give a room character and bring all elements together!

GIFT ALERT : What about printing a family picture into a puzzle for Grandma and Grandpa this year!

Did you know you can transform any image or picture into a quilt, a throw, a puzzle, and many other things?

What?!

How stupendous is that?

Let me show you all the goodies I made for my girls!

I introduce you to the CUTEST FLANEL THROW ever!

This throw and puzzle have become my girls’ favorites!

Whisper Voice: By the way the quality of the throw is AMAZING!

I finished the room with this cute wreath canvas print.

Isn’t it adorable?

And just like that YOU can transform an ordinary room into an extraordinary place where little girls can dream big!
