I woke up yesterday morning with a great desire
to take a break from packing…
I needed some “me time”…
I looked around and I realized that all of my supplies were already inside of boxes but two things… my vinyl machine and my sharpies…
Hmmm… hmmmm… what to do?
Oh! I know… I can do this!
The light bulb really went on while folding and putting away this
SO VERY CUTE other t-shirt from my Saydi….
The one I did took me 15 minutes to make…
It took me a lot longer to create this post than the project itself…
This is what I used…
a t-shirt, ruler, color sharpies, vinyl stencil… and a piece of cardboard.
1st…
I made the vertical line… using the ruler and of course the red sharpie…
2nd…
I marked the horizontal lines from the inside of the red line to the end of the t-shirt…
Don’t press to hard that will make the fabric wrinkel.
{I put cardboard inside of the t-shirt to protect the back of it and to make it sturdy to work on}
3rd..
I did the same thing with the other side of the t-shirt…
At this point it looked like this.
LUV!
4th…
I applied the stencil and simply “colored inside of the lines”… 😉
5th…
I peeled the vinyl off..
…and I was done!
Here is Anni with her first day back to school outfit…
I love the little A made of pencils…
…and YES, she is an A+ Sweet Little Thing…
If you are planning to make something like this keep in mind that I eye-balled
the lines…don’t take all day measuring…
By the way I wasn’t kidding when I said everything was packed…
check out my working area 😀
