Hello friends! Jill here from Create.Craft.Love. I have a fun kid’s project for Mother’s Day! If you follow me on Instagram, I featured a photo of my tiny bouquet of yellow flowers. As a mother, my heart swells when my little human brings me a bouquet of freshly cut….dandelions. There is something about that simple gesture that melts me. It’s sad that they last all of 2 seconds before they whither and die. About the same time that morning, he was busy scarfing back some Danimals Smoothies and something clicked in my head. I could use these as bud vases to preserve them just a little longer!
Creating your own Bud Vases is simple!
All you need is an empty, cleaned out yogurt cup, Mod Podge, a paintbrush, and glitter!
These are the yogurt cups to which I am referring. Reed is obsessed with these! We got through a dozen or two a week! So I have these coming out of my ears!
Remove the wrapping and coat with Mod Podge. I have a special love of the Extreme Glitter Mod Podge. I mean, who doesn’t!?
Work quickly to coat your bud vase with glitter.
These would actually be beautiful with any type of flower! And what mother doesn’t love receiving flowers from her favorite people?!
Who knew dandelions could be so beautiful?!
Find the beauty in your world today, my friends!

Such a bright and uplifting project! Thank you, for the inspiration this morning! I needed it~
Cute!! I always love finding fun projects for my nieces to do when they visit.
