Hello you all… Welcome to The 36th Avenue!
Last week I started working on our entryway makeover.
I wanted to give it a new fresh look and thank my friends from DecoArt.
I made a modern Stenciled Wall Art to add to the new design.
How to stencil?
If you’ve never stenciled before and you don’t know where to start I want to show you
how easy it is to transform any surface in two simple steps.
Step One
Choose your paint and prepare your surface.
I love the new colors and quality of DecoArt Satin Multi-Surface Paint.
They have every color you can imagine but for my sign I used neutrals and different tones of blue.
After you have your paint make sure to clean the surface you are going to work on.
This step will help your design look crisp and the paint to stick to your surface perfectly.
Step Two
Now that you are ready it is time to have fun and make the transformation.
All you need to do is place your stencil on top of your surface and with a stenciling brush
tap the paint with an up and down motion.
Do not brush side to side to avoid the paint getting under your stencil.
I love the geometric modern designs of these stencils.
You can find these ones that I used and many other beautiful ones at DecoArt.
Here is my new wall art!
Here it is in our entryway!

For these ornaments I used an awesome product from DecoArt
that transforms any acrylic paint into chalkboard paint… So brilliant!

Thank you so much friends for visiting with us today.
Wishing you all a wonderful and colorful day!
