I’m so excited to share with you how to involve children in taking care of a family garden! I’m also going to show you how you can turn any hose connection into a fabulous feeder at the flip of a switch! Yes, you heard me right! Let me tell you that feeding your plants and flowers can be as easy as watering when you use Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder! This is the easiest feeding system I’ve ever used!
I was challenged by my friends over at Miracle-Gro® to create a unique instrument to water our garden this year! I LOVE flowers and I love a good challenge so I decided to turn our hose into the mother of all flowers!
This was so easy to do! You can find flowers already made similar to the one that I already used at your local craft stores. If not you can buy a sheet of foam and trace and cut a flower! I used the Miracle-Gro® LiquaFeed® Universal Feeder bottle and a pencil to trace a circle on top of the flower.
Make sure the circle is a bit smaller than the diameter of your hose end-sprayer so that it stays put and snugs tightly around it. Cut the circle out.
Slide the flower up the back of the hose end sprayer. This should take a little bit of effort… Remember you want a tight fit!
Time to feed and water the plants!
When our little girl saw the fabulous new hose the first thing she asked was if she could water the flowers for me.
My answer was simple “You can not only water them… You can even feed them!”
How cool is this? You can turn your hose into a feeding machine at the flip of a switch… If it waters, now it can feed!
