Homemade Cherry Lemonade Recipe – If you have some leftover cherries and perhaps a few fresh lemons all you need to do is to get yourself into the kitchen and start making this amazing lemonade.
I love summer and what I love even more is a big glass of fresh cherry lemonade on a hot summer day. How is everyone’s summer going? Mine is passing by like crazy, and I can’t even believe that we are almost in August! Ghaw! Today calls for a great summer drink that you can still enjoy for a few more weeks. If you have some leftover cherries and perhaps a few fresh lemons all you need to do is to get yourself into the kitchen and start making this amazing lemonade.
I had some cherries in the fridge that were not so super fresh and crunchy anymore and instead of throwing them in the trash I used them to make fresh cherry lemonade. I love to use up things and not to waste much food. This natural CHERRY LEMONADE calls for a few ingredients ONLY.
- 2 cups pitted fresh cherries
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 3 fresh lemons, squeezed to juice
- 1-gallon water
- Add pitted cherries, sugar and lemon juice to blender and blend it until smooth.
- Add ice and water to the pitcher and strain the cherry sauce into the water.
- Garnish with fresh cherries.
My boys couldn’t have enough of it. It’s not your typical sugary drink, but it’s so yummy that you can’t and won’t stop drinking for the rest of the summer! I guarantee!
