Today we have Susan from Love Of Home visiting and sharing her DIY Hair Accessories Tutorial. These DIY Barrettes are adorable, easy to make, and perfect for gifts. I love the idea of making them with my girls. Maybe we should have a girl’s craft night and invite their friends. So cute!

MATERIALS

Metal Barrettes – You can find them HERE

Mod Podge – Find it HERE

Foam Brushes – Find it HERE

Craft Paper and Scissors.

TUTORIAL

Hi there! I’m Susan from Love Of Home with another quick & cute gift for girls. I purchased Goody barrettes in two sizes. You want the plain ones. In addition, to the barrettes you’ll need: Modge Podge, foam brush or paint brush, patterned paper & scissors.

Trace the barrette on the back of the paper, cut out.

Put a thin coat of Modge Podge on the back of the paper and adhere to barrette. Hold in place until almost dry. Once dry, put two coats of the Modge Podge on the barrette, letting each coat dry.
