Hi there, 36th Avenue readers!

I’m Jill, the crafty mastermind behind Create.Craft.Love!

I am tickled pink that Desiree asked me to share my crafty goodness with all of YOU!

A little about me…I’m a full time working mommy, married to my best friend and love of my life. Together we have an adorable little boy who is my reason for existing! I started Create.Craft.Love. to stop boring them to death with all of my creative endeavors!

I have a super easy tutorial – perfect for Father’s Day – to share with you today!

All you have to do is rummage through your closet to create this DIY Coffee Sleeve from Dad’s Old Shirt!

Or as I like to call it – a “Cuff”ee Sleeve! {How lame am I? wink, wink}

It is sooooo easy to make your own! Wanna learn how?

Here’s how to make your own DIY Coffee Sleeve from Dad’s Old Shirt!

Old button down shirt

Coffee cup

Disclaimer: Ladies, you will want to check with your husbands before cutting apart his old shirts {even if he hasn’t worn them in five years and there is dust on them}. They get a little upset when they see their shirt cut to pieces on the dining room table. Don’t say I didn’t warn you! hee hee

Step one: Find an old shirt.

Step 2: Cut off the cuffs from old shirt.

Step 3: Trim cut cuff.

The cuff fits perfectly on those Eco-friendly coffee cups that you can find in any store these days!

Super cute and kinda manly!

I hope you’ll stop by and visit me at Create.Craft.Love!

Thanks for the great project. I featured this today on Creative Green Living

  2. LOVE it! I’d have to look elsewhere for sleeves though – my hubby always makes that area wear out first!!!

  3. What a great idea! Goodwill probably has an awesome selection of cheap shirts if you don’t want to cut up one from your hubby’s own closet.
