Good Morning Lovelies!

What happened to January?

TIME IS FLYING!

I am sharing with you today a TUTORIAL

that I originally shared weeks ago over at Jen’s fabulous blog Tatertot’s & Jello .

I adore Jen and I can’t even tell you how blessed I feel  for having the opportunity to hang out with  her

and her readers every month.  I am living a dream…

If you missed the TUTORIAL before, here are the steps of how to make your own little kiss bag.

For this project you’ll need very few materials:

1/4 of a Yard of Clear Plastic Vinyl.

{ You can find this at any fabric Store or even at your local Wal-Mart }

Scissors or Cutting Board

Thread and Sewing Machine

Craft Paper

Ribbon.

I used the cutting board to cut a 8.5″ x 11″ piece of plastic

and a small 2.75″ x 2.75″ for the pocket.

If you don’t have a cutting board trace a sheet of paper on the plastic and use your scissors.

2

♥.♥

Fold the larger piece in half and make a crease using your fingers.

I clipped the sides so they wouldn’t move while sewing.

3

♥.♥.♥

Time to sew the bag!

Before you sew the sides together make sure you sew the little pocket to the front of your bag.

Then sew three of the sides of the bag together leaving the opening on top.

At this point it should look like this… { without the tag }

4

♥.♥.♥.♥

Make the little tag for the pocket.

Girl, put some lipstick and stamp your kiss on white card-stock.

Cut it and sew it to another piece of card stock of your choice.

5

♥.♥.♥.♥.♥

You are almost done… It is time to add some embellishments!

Fill the bag with kisses and tie a ribbon around it to close your bag.

I used two different sizes of heart punch holders to make my hearts.

If you don’t have one you can cut them with scissors…

Then I cut a little rectangle and wrote ” kiss me” and with an ink pad I antiqued the edges…

Few more little holes to thread the baker’s twine…

And guess what?

I was done!

I made a little printable to go with it…

I think he is going to love it !
