For  the last few weeks over at her blog  there have been amazing tutorials packed with great ideas of how to use photos to decorate every room in your home.

Today is my turn to share my tips with her readers and you…

but first, do you remember the lonely old window that was hanging by my kitchen island?

I was never really happy with the look of it.

I decided to give it a 5 minutes simple makeover using chicken wire and pin tacks.

TUTORIAL

1

Using some clippers or pliers cut the chicken wire to your desired size.

Please be carfeful with your hands, the wire is super sharp.

DON’T GET HURT!

2

For the second and final step I secured the chicken wire to the back of the window

nailing a bunch of tacks to keep the wire in place.

Then I turned the window around and I was done!

I told you it was a 5 minute project.

If you want a more in depth tutorial you can check the small wire frame I made for my peg board HERE.

I also antiqued some clothes pins using an ink pad.

You’ll see later what I used them for…

Here is a small sneak peek of the new window…

I want to show you the entire look of the window and share with you some tips of how to take great family pictures.

I am sharing some of my latest pictures there.

Are you ready? Lets go!
