St. Patrick’s Day is around the corner. Make this DIY Pot of Gold for your festivities and wish your family and friends a lucky day!
Hello again, 36th Avenue friends! It’s Jill again from Create.Craft.Love. Is anyone else sick of winter? I am happy to be back sharing our first craft of the SPRING holidays! Whip up this adorable DIY Pot of Gold for your St. Patrick’s Day festivities!
Create your own DIY Pot of Gold!
Here’s what your need:
Mini terracotta pot
Black acrylic pain
Sponge brush
Mod Podge
Gold glitter
Shamrock sticker or vinyl cut out
Rolo candies to fill
Begin by painting your terracotta pots with the black acrylic paint. It took two coats to cover.
Once dry, apply a thin layer of Mod Podge along the inside of the lip. {I use sparkle Mod Podge when crafting with glitter!} Sprinkle with gold glitter.
Next, apply a thin layer along the outer rim. Roll in glitter.
Attach the sticker out line of the shamrock to the front of the pot.
Apply light coat of Mod Podge to the shamrock area.
Sprinkle with gold glitter and slowly remove the sticker outline.
Fill with Rolo candies and you are finished!
Use this as a St. Patrick’s Day prize or party favor! It’s so fun and festive!
Such a fun idea!
