Hi 36th Avenue Readers! It’s Aniko again here from Place Of My Taste. I hope all of you are ready to spend some time to shop for Christmas. It’s that time again, crazy-ha? For those busy days what else would please us more than some easy to make, quick dinner that could be done as little as 20 minutes.
I have it for ya!
Not so long ago when we were out on a date with hubby, I’ve ordered something really unique at a restaurant.
Author: Aniko @ placeofmytaste.com
Ingredients
- 2 small flat breads { such as Naan or homemade }
- 2 pears { Bartlett }
- 1 medium onion
- 1 tbsp. balsamic vinegar
- 1 tbsp. olive oil
- Handful Gorgonzola cheese pieces
- Handful fresh spinach
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in pan and add sliced onion & pear and vinegar.
- Caramelize them together for about 8 minutes.
- Place the flat bread on greased cookie sheet.
- Add pear-onion mix to the flat bread and sprinkle with Gorgonzola cheese crumbs.
- Arrange some fresh spinach leaves on top
- Bake it for about 6-8 minutes. { 425 F}
This would be great dinner paired with green salad on a busy weeknight but
it could be perfect appetizer on your next party!
You can experiment different toppings for flat breads. For now, this is far my favorite –
especially being in pear season.
Thanks so much for having me here today!I hope you will enjoy this great recipe as much we do!
