Just a few days ago I shared with you all our Cupcake Liner Wreath Tutorial and today I’m sharing how to make an adorable Spring Banner using wood and a wood burning tool. I love the vintage look of this banner, super cute and perfect for Spring Decor!
Banner Tutorial
I started with these adorable wood flags that I found at Michaels.
I use a round tip to burn small polka dots with my wood burning tool.
You can make all type of designs with these tool and it costs around $10!
The second step was to embellish each of the wood flags. I used letters, small acrylic flowers, ribbon, lace and even some old jewelry pieces that I don’t use anymore. Cute isn’t it?
After the banner was made I attached all the flags to each other using twine. I always buy my twine from my local Dollar Store since it is thiner and easier to work with than the one you find over at a hardware store.
These pieces are all part of my Spring Entryway… I can’t wait to give you a tour!

I can’t say the colors are mine choice with the wreath, but I have seen beautiful cup cakes with Easter that would be awesome. How simple and fun.
