Yes, unbelievably it’s true. Somewhere, somehow, someway I made this Jamba Juice Berry Blend Smoothie Recipe and I missed out on it. I’m sure you’re all thinking exactly what I said to the family when I saw the empty blender. WHOA…WHAT???
There are things in life that just shouldn’t happen. You shouldn’t get pimples when you have wrinkles. Short women shouldn’t marry tall men leaving only short men for tall women. You shouldn’t get a parking ticket when you are delivering food to the homeless shelter. You shouldn’t feel better the day you finally get in to see the doctor. You shouldn’t get free tickets the day after you just bought expensive ones. You shouldn’t get mono when you’re old and getting kissed less than nuns (not that I know that many nuns, but I’m guessing). And you shouldn’t miss out on this Jamba Juice Berry Blend Smoothie Recipe!
What’s the lesson I learned? Don’t take a bathroom break while the blender is blending. Little demons called “I didn’t do it” will infiltrate the kitchen and suck down your smoothie.
I understand, however, the smoothie was divine!
- ½ cup soy milk (try almond or coconut milk, too!)
- ½ cup mixed berry juice
- 1 cup frozen blueberries
- 1 cup frozen strawberries
- Add ingredients in a high-speed blender in the order listed and blend until smooth and creamy. Add additional berry juice 1 tablespoon at a time to thin to desired consistency.
