Sweet & Simple Gifting

Hi friends!
Today we have Kristy from Life-n-Reflection is visiting with us and sharing an adorable wrapping idea.
I love handmade gifts and they get even better when the wrapping is as special as the gift.
Here is her tutorial…

Step 1: Create your own gift bags: Slice letter size Kraft paper in half. Die cut inside the front 5″ x 4.25″ with a medium heart framelit. Score at 5″ and 6″ to create the bag shape.

Step 2. Slip a gift inside a wax or clear bag wrapped in a Dollie.  Adhere a strip of glittered scrapbook paper to the front. Cut a 4″ x 4.25″ bag topper from card stock. Score in half and fold over the top of the bag. Staple or glue in place. Wrap twine and ribbon around to embellish. Optional – Step it Up by running the Kraft stock strips through a chevron embossing folder first!

Step 3. Create a matching card: Cut a letter size white card stock sheet in half. Fold in half and score. Repeat with a sheet of vellum. Slip the card stock front of the card into the chevron embossing folder for added dimension.  Wrap vellum around embossed card. Die cut a heart from silver glitter paper and a label from aqua card stock. Stamp label with your sentiment. Adhere each die cut to card with dimensional dots. Using fabric glue add a strip of rosette ribbon to the label.
