My Powder Room is almost done!
Let me show you where the inspiration came from…
I am sure yo have seen this box of
Rose Soap Petals
at your local Dollar Tree before…
Well, this is what I envisioned when I first saw it…
…a flower ball
All I did was open each rose, separate the petals…
…and pin them close together
I love these! Can you tell me how you decided which way to pin them? Totally random? Also, how long does it take to make one? Thanks
JUST bought some and trying it out this very moment….so far it is gorgeous and smells lovely. Thank you for being so tho’tful to share great idea!
That is great brenda! Have fun!
I tried this and it turned out wonderful!!! I absolutely love it! I’m going to use it for decorations at my wedding. A couple of questions though, what size styrofoam ball did you use and how many boxes of flowers did you use? I did a 6″ ball and it took about 7 boxes of flowers…..I’m going to try using a 4″ ball. Thanks for sharing this beautiful idea!
Mine were about three or four inches balls and it took a box and a half to cover them.
Thank you for letting me know that you are making them for your wedding… You made my day!
Extremely creative, utterly brilliant … what an absolutely gorgeous creation!
What a great idea! Guess where I will be going tomorrow? Right after I finish my taxes 🙁 Yep procrastination at it’s finest…XoXo
This is just way toooooooo pretty not to comment on. Seriously, i can already imagine it in my house. I LOVE this project. So simple yet so elegant. I’m thinking of doing a couple of this for my sister’s wedding shenanigans. Thank you thank you!
You are welcome Grace. They look really pretty in white too.
Your Rose soap ball bouquet is so pretty! You could recreate this also by taking some fabric flowers apart, make a batch of melt-your-own-soap with any scent you like and then dip the fabric flower pieces in the melted soap! Set them on some wax paper till cooled 😉
Thank you for the tip!
Oh, I love it! Are the petals actually made of soap or just smell like soap?
That is so pretty and I LOVE your pictures! They are really beautiful. 🙂 Found this project over at In the Loooop.
