Kale is a fantastic source of many vitamins. It’s so great for your body so be sure to eat more. These Crispy Kale Chips is one of the easiest snacks to make! Serve this healthy snack as finger food or appetizer at your next party. When we have people coming over for dinner I also love to serve it before the entree or as a side dish!
Hi! It’s Aniko here from Place of my Taste and today I am going to share one of my easiest snack recipes that even my kids love. Before I moved to the US I had no idea what kale was but then my neighbor brought me a plate of crispy kale chips, and I got hooked. Last year we made a garden in our backyard. And we planted some seeds. Then the kale started to grow in the backyard, and we ate lots of these crispy chips this summer. They are delicious and super easy to make!
Here is the recipe… Enjoy!
- 1 head kale, washed and thoroughly dried
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- salt for sprinkling
- Preheat the oven to 275 degrees F.
- Remove the ribs from the kale and cut into 1½-inch pieces. Lay on a baking sheet and toss with the olive oil and salt. Bake until crisp, turning the leaves halfway through, about 20 minutes. Serve as finger food.
This is one of those foods that are good to the taste and good for you!
If you have some leftover kale, you can also try my fabulous soup
And just because the peach season is still here, make some of this yummy peach jam for the kiddos!
And if you love to see how I get ready for back to school, check out this post
Enjoy the rest of your summer!
Cheers,
Aniko
