Color Magic Instagram Book
Have you ever crafted with Color Magic Paper??
I think Heidi Swapp was the first to introduce it to the “Paper Crafting World”.
Basically you can custom color papers, chip boards, fabrics, and more!
Most often alcohol based inks are used with Color Magic.
I decided to try it with stamping ink pads.
Check out the process in this video tutorial!
I created a mini Instagram book for my summer captures with the custom colored paper I made in the video. What have you created with custom color techniques?
Please share it with us in the comments below!

Oh my goodness, this is too cool!! I’ll have to pin this once I get home — I love it!! I only recently discovered your (super inspirational!) blog — about 2 days ago, in fact!! — so I’ve nearly worn out my eyes from staring at all of the awesome you’ve created! xD I’m so enamoured, in fact, I added you to my ‘trendy 10’ on my blogroll (the top 10, basically) — I hope you don’t mind, but I had to edit your button just a tad in order to get it to look proper with my blog theme..! :O It looks great, though, I swear! 😀 Thanks for creating such awesome stuff — I totally look forward to reading your blog every day!!
Thank you so much! Have a wonderful day 🙂
I love all of her Color Shine stuff. We did a mini scrapbook for a graduation gift for my daughter’s friend.

Very cute Desiree- I love the creativity that comes out when I get into Kristy’s stuff.
I used Distress Inks with my color magic all the TIme- I think that crafters are using all the various inks to color this type of paper. Tim Holtz has a version of this type of paper as well- though his is on Kraft background. Obviously he uses Distress products as well. I don’t think alcohol based inks are used the majority of time. Heidi uses her ColorShine products on her papers which are water based as well.
Distress Inks are fun to work with too! Thanks for the tip Danee!
I love this paper! I just instagramed a pic of using water-colours with it (@vfynes) it is so easy and no mater what medium you use with it, it turns out looking great! Beautiful album!
Virginia, your paper looks so vibrant with that rainbow of colors!
