Copper! I think I have a new obsession and it is Copper Home Decor! I’ve been working on some new decor accessories for my upcoming home office. Today I’m going to show you two DIY Copper Gold Leaf Vases that I made for my new working space! I’m seriously in love with the way they turned out! Take a look!

TUTORIAL
ONE
Apply a thin coat of gilding adhesive to the surface of the pot. Allow the adhesive to air dry until the surface feels tacky. Keep in mind that the only spots where the copper leaf will show is where the glue was applied.
TWO
Carefully lay the gilding sheet on the prepared surface. Keep the wax backing sheet towards you. Press and smooth gilding sheet to the surface, rubbing gently. Repeat and continue adding gilding sheets until the entire surface area is covered!
Using a natural bristle brush, brush over the copper leaf to remove the excess gilding.
I love this part!

You are done!
