I think you know by now how much I love Christmas. For me this is the time of the year when we get to celebrate the light of Christ and I believe that everything that comes from it surely shines. We have our Christmas dinner on Christmas Eve and I wanted to create a space where light could be the focal point. Today I am going to share with you how to design a bright Christmas Table Escape using things you may already have.

Nothing reflects light more than a mirror, so for our center piece and focal point I used one.

In the picture below you can see how it is lifted up from the table.

To do so I put under the mirror a platter big enough that could support it.

I wanted to use items that are naturally shiny; ornaments are a perfect way to bring light instantly!

I found these glittered christmas ornaments at the Dollar Store… 8 of them for a buck.

You can’t beat that!

I love to use glass vases to decorate.

The possibilities and things you can do with them are endless.

Metalic colors such as gold and silver are not just timeless but they bright up a space so much

giving a traditional classic look .

I used the colors of our tree as the inspiration for the rest of our dining room.

Layering different dishes and fabrics make the table inviting and warm.

Fold your napkins and tie a gold ribbon in the middle to make a bow. Easy and cute!

An easy way to make an ordinary cup look extraordinary is to use sugar to frost the top of it.

Dip the top ring of your glass in corn syrup and after dip it in sugar. You are done!

To add some more sparkle I brought candles to the table.

I love how the Christmas Tree Lights and the candle’s flame reflects in the mirror…

The glow is so festive and pretty.

The last thing I did was bring natural elements to the table to make it cozy and familiar.

Pine tree bunches and pine cones are the perfect final Christmas touch!

Turn off the lights and enjoy a room Merry and Bright!

Look how the light of the tree lights up the entire table thanks to the mirror!
