If Christmas had a flavor I think it would be Candy Cane.
Today I am sharing a delicious three ingredient Candy Cane Dip that we love
as part of the 50 Holiday Sweet Treats series.
Seriously, we can’t have enough of it.
You can eat it with anything you like but we love to dip apples in it,
my favorite are the green ones… So yummy!
OK, here is the recipe.
- 8 oz Cream Cheese
- 13 oz Marshmallow Creme
- 5 to 7 Candy Canes
- Mix well the soft cream cheese and marshmallow creme together.
- Crush the candy canes in small pieces and add it to the mixture. Mix all together and serve.
Perfect for neighbor gifts and Christmas parties!
My kiddos are giving this yumminess to their teachers this year…
If you like the idea just put your dip in a jar, punch a circle big enough to cover
the inner lid and pick a juicy delicious apple.
I found the small little cupcake toppers at the Dollar Store.
So no matter if you are going to eat it…
or give it…
…you are going to enjoy how good it is!

Candy Cane Dip?! That is genius! I need this in my life asap. 😀
when the recipe calls for 5-7 candy canes… what size are the candy canes? Full size? mini’s? Maybe a length measurement would be helpful. Thanks!
Ana, regular Candy Canes.
Hello, I am making this dip for teacher gifts this year. Can’t wait! Does it need to be refridgerated since it has cream cheese in it???
Thanks so much!!!
Does the dip used as a gift have to be refrigerated?
I would if yo are not going to give it in a few hours of making it.
I made it! I took it to my sister’s annual Christmas party over the weekend. I had mini graham crackers, two-toned sandwich cookies, apples and pears to go with it. Yum!!!! I decided it would be delicious frosting for brownies too!
I’m doing a post tonight with a link to your recipe.
Thanks!
Yay!
Thank you so much for the link let me know when your post comes up so I can share it!

Really, REALLY!!! I can’t wait to make this, so Yummy!!
Since there is cream cheese in the recipe I am guessing the dip needs to be refrigerated. Just wondering how long it can be stored…
I had mine on the fridge for a week and it was fine.
One teeny little thing not shown in your beautiful pix is that this is messy to prepare! I am a neat cook but I had marshmallow creme all over my hands, the sink, the cabinet, and the outside of the jars by the time I was finished! It’s still tasty and makes a cute gift…just be prepared to have a little mess!
Thank you, thank you!!!! Your recipes and pictures look so fun….and I like anything that has 5 ingredients or less!!! deb
