I remember clearly where I was 10 years ago…
I remember what I was doing when my heart stopped for a minute and a sense of emptiness,
anger and unbelief took over.
The difference between people and heroes are that heroes never die, their actions, their words, their memories keep them alive forever and that is what September 11th gives us all…
thousands of heroes that will never be forgotten…
What happened on September 11th was more than a horrible terrorist attack against our nation
it was the most coward attack to basic human rights…
The rights of a father to hold their child one more time,
the right of a wife to say I love you for the last time,
the right of a mother to be to simply sing her first lullaby…
So to me instead of death, September 11th gave me pure love for life.
The desire to live today fully, the opportunity to say good bye with more intent, to hold my loved ones more often,
to look inside of my heart and let the best of it come out.
So thank you to you heroes that touched the lives of so many of us that day…
and thank to you out there that choose to make a difference in those around you every day.
… I will personally NEVER forget
God Bless America.
