My family had thanksgiving this past week since we were all together (my husband and I drove down from Iowa to be with them in Pennsylvania). One of my brothers, and his wife, are both chefs and they made the turkey for us this year. Very simple..but delicious! They poured apple cider in the bottom of the broiler pan the turkey cooked it. They also cooked up some bacon and periodically poured the bacon juices over the turkey as it was cooking. My sis-in-law made sure to cook the bird enough, but not overcook, so it was very tender and scrumptious. I highly recommend it!
